The division of rhizomes is made in August or spring or autumn. In the process of transplanting the middle ones, the semi-dead parts of the rhizomes must be removed, blowing up healthy parts. You can cut the rhizomes, leaving even 1-2 mesh, it is recommended to protect the cutting plane with a layer of powdered charcoal. Kosaćce thrives in any garden soil, not too dry and not too damp (on which only Siberian and yellow ones should be planted), they bloom beautifully in the sun, but shorter. Siberian iris (iris sibirica) it grows up to the height 60-120 cm, flowers are small, White, blue, Violet, leaves’ narrow, just like the eastern iris (Iris orientalis). The latter has outer perianth petals devoid of brushed hair and larger flowers.
